This Deluxe Delrin Spatula is an ideal hand tool for conservators in a variety of disciplines.

Useful for pressure sensitive tape removal, delaminating, paint and emulsion consolidation, sticking a little bit of adhesive under something, controlled pressing, and more.

The flexible wide tip can direct pressure downward, and be used with a twisting motion to help pry off unwanted layers. The thin tip, due to the wedge shape, is great for applying minute amounts of adhesive.

The octagonal shape doesn’t roll off your work surface, and is comfortable in writing or drawing hand position. Black delrin is more abrasion resistant than white delrin, so the tip will keep its shape longer.

The handle is the same thickness as a Rotring 600 mechanical pencil. The design was inspired by Ashleigh Ferguson’s “Griffin” spatula. A two-stage sharpening kit with instructions is provided with every tool.

Black Delrin, slightly flexible tips, approximately 200mm x 8mm. The wide tip is about .15mm thick, 8mm wide, and sharp on the end and sides. The small tip is blunt and 1 - 2mm wide.
